On March 31st, the Voyis team will lead a talk at the 7th International Dialogue on Underwater Munitions, about “Optical systems for identifying subsea munitions and monitoring remediation”.
Underwater munitions can be damaging to subsea ecosystems, driving a critical need to efficiently identify potential threats and to create a profile of the environment to effectively monitor the success of remediation. Subsea laser scanners and stills cameras mobilized from robotic systems are ideal solutions to support this effort. Our presentation will highlight the technology capabilities and survey workflow to address the threats of underwater munitions on subsea environments.

About IDUM
International Dialogues on Underwater Munitions (IDUM) was founded in Canada as a non-profit society in 2004 where governments, militaries, private sector, community and international organizations, friends of the ocean and stakeholders come together in a Voluntary Platform for Cooperation to openly, constructively and transparently discuss underwater munitions (UWM’s). IDUM’s Mission is to promote an International Treaty for the Eradication of Underwater Munitions
