As the world’s most advanced photogrammetry tool, the Voyis Discovery Stereo Camera captured high-quality 8MP images for detailed 3D modeling of the pipeline segment. Leveraging the Voyis VSLAM Powered by EIVA NaviSuite, the camera not only performed live modelling but also ensured complete data acquisition coverage, providing unparalleled precision. High-precision 3D photogrammetry allowed the technicians to meet the verification requirements with millimetre-level accuracy, giving the customer confidence that the cut pipeline ends would be suitable for mechanical connectors and that the replacement operation could proceed as planned.

Following the coating removal with their Coating Removal Tool (CRT), the Discovery Stereo Camera was deployed for high-precision 3D photogrammetry. Offshore data collection and processing were handled efficiently, allowing Ashtead Technology’s expert technicians to verify the ovality in real-time.
