In this edition of our Integration Spotlight series, we’re showcasing the integration between Voyis imaging systems and the MarineNav Oceanus Ultimate ROV, a powerful combination designed to enhance both piloting awareness and inspection capability in demanding underwater inspection environments.

The Oceanus Ultimate ROV is MarineNav’s most advanced platform, featuring an eight-thruster, vectorized configuration that enables precise maneuverability, including sustained pitch and roll control. This level of control allows operators to better position the vehicle for complex inspection tasks, particularly in confined or hard-to-access areas where stability and orientation are critical.

When integrated with the Voyis Discovery Inspection Series Stereo Camera and the Observer Vision Series Camera, the system delivers a comprehensive optical solution. The Discovery Stereo provides real-time subsea 3D perception and enables accurate, repeatable measurements, supporting offshore inspection workflows that require quantifiable data and detailed visual documentation. At the same time, the Observer camera enhances situational awareness, offering clear, high-quality video for piloting and general navigation.

Together, these systems enable operators to move beyond traditional video-based subsea inspections. The combination of high-resolution imaging, spatial understanding, and precise vehicle control allows for more efficient data collection and improved confidence in inspection outcomes.

MarineNav’s adaptive control system further enhances this integration. With controls that automatically adjust based on camera perspective, operators can seamlessly switch between views without needing to reorient their inputs. Features such as auto-stabilization also ensure the ROV can maintain its position when precise data capture is required.

This integration highlights how advanced optical sensors and highly maneuverable ROV platforms can work together to improve the quality and reliability of underwater inspections. By combining real-time 3D data with intuitive piloting and control, operators are better equipped to navigate complexity and capture the information that matters most.

As part of our ongoing Integration Spotlight series, this collaboration demonstrates how Voyis technology continues to integrate across a wide range of vehicle platforms, bringing enhanced clarity, precision, and confidence to subsea operations.
